It’s long and supple, with a village Beaujolais-like weight, with a juicy core of fruit supported by fine, powdery tannins and a hint of dusty oak, finishing with a vivacious acidity. Over the last 2 years it has developed really pleasing roundness, drive and softness, which remain underpinned by a fine cut of mineral tannins. It finishes with a really pleasing note of red licorice. Ready to enjoy now, but has 2-3 years of real excellence ahead.
